Caboose 335
The first picture was taken when we were getting caboose 335 ready to move.
It was park next to a Day Care Center in Nelson, NC located near I-40 and S. Miami Blvd.
The second picture was taken on February 6, 2013 when the Color Graphic crew was finishing up the lettering.
Many NCRM members did a very nice job of restoring this caboose.

It is hard to believe that our railroad looked like this and we still hauled passengers on car 100 with metal seats!
With a lot of hard work from all our volunteers through the years we have come a long way in 24 years.
Aren't we lucky that we now 4 nice looking passenger cars with roofs.
When I came to the railroad in 1986, I rode on car 100 when it didn't even have the metal seats. We just rode on the wooden deck.
Thank you for giving of your time and talents to make this the best railroad/museum in the area.
Members in picture - Dr. Jim Wright with orange safety hat, his son John Wright and David Campbell.
